I am the one and only Mireeca McFadden

I’m a 27yr old self taught artist born and raised in South Carolina with art pieces in 10 different states and 1 other country. I know many of you wonder ‘‘Where did that name come from?’’ or ‘‘Am I saying the name correctly?’’ …..Im here to give you some relief :) - The name ‘‘mireeca’’ is my middle name pronounced (MUH-REE-CUH).

I have had a passion for art as soon as I learned to hold a pencil and write my alphabets. When I started to take art serious and use it as a therapy was around the age of 11. I started off with falling in love with the way cartoons looked, the way they flow, their personalities and how I too wanted to create my own cartoon. The inspiration from my childhood creatives had me sitting in school drawing from the first to last bell with no regrets.

Most of my experience is from my middle-high school years of school. I would love to give a special thanks to my high school art teacher and online friendships of several artist for playing a part in encouraging me to take on an art career. Years and years later I am here still learning and growing with several accomplishments under my belt.

As for a category I do not like to put myself in a bubble strictly to one type of art. I am open to everything creative including photography, sculpting, painting, custom designs, music etc. I currently only work with acrylic and teaching myself how to work with oils.

My love for art is PURE and I wouldn’t trade my abilities for anything in the world.
